BATUTAH TRAVEL & TOUR SDN BHD is seeking a capable Full Set Accountant / Senior Accountant Executive in Kuala Lumpur to manage the complete accounting function independently. The role requires handling AP, AR and GL, preparing monthly management reports, and ensuring tax and SST compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance with 3–5 years’ experience, strong Excel skills, and proficiency in SQL Accounting/AutoCount/Xero.

• Experience preparing management accounts, cash flow reports and audit schedules.

Responsabilidades

• Independently handle complete set of accounts for one company (AP, AR, GL).

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and GL reconciliations.
• Manage invoicing, supplier payments, receipts and outstanding balances.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.

• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with auditors, tax agents and company secretary.
• Coordinate corporate tax, SST compliance and e-Invoicing per LHDN rules.

FULL SET ACCOUNTANT / SENIOR ACCOUNTANT EXECUTIVE

We are looking for an experienced, responsible and detail-oriented Full Set Accountant to independently manage the complete accounting function of our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing monthly management reports, managing daily accounting operations and ensuring compliance with applicable Malaysian accounting and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

Independently handle a complete set of accounts for one company, including AP, AR and General Ledger.

Prepare monthly Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets and management accounts.

Perform monthly bank reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation.

Manage customer invoicing, supplier payments, receipts and outstanding balances.

Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.

Complete month-end and year-end closing accurately and on time.

Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors, tax agents and company secretary.

Coordinate corporate tax and SST compliance where applicable.

Manage e-Invoicing requirements according to applicable LHDN regulations.

Maintain proper accounting records, supporting documents and internal financial controls.

About you

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience.

Proven ability to handle a full set of accounts independently.

Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and financial reporting.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as SQL Accounting, AutoCount or Xero.

Experience preparing management accounts, cash flow reports and audit schedules.

Knowledge of Malaysian taxation, SST and e-Invoicing requirements.

Strong attention to detail, integrity and accountability.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Good communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
