Job summary

SMC Automation in Penang is seeking an Accounts Executive to support our finance and operations teams. The role covers accounts processing, invoicing, inventory reconciliation, shipping documentation, and assisting purchasing and audits. Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–3 years of experience are welcome.

You will work with ERP systems and Excel, ensuring accuracy, timely filing, and compliance with e-Invoicing requirements. Mandarin language skills are preferred for client interactions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with 1–3 years of relevant experience will have an added advantage.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and inventory control.
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Familiarity with e-Invoicing requirements is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to meet deadlines.
• Fluency in Mandarin is preferred to interact with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts, invoicing, and stock reconciliation.
• Prepare shipping documents and assist purchasing and audits.
• Verify supplier invoices, amend POs as needed, and ensure e-invoices compliance.
• Coordinate with warehouse on shipment handling and documentation.
• Maintain stock records, product costing, and stock takes.
• Record supplier invoices in ERP and generate purchase analysis for tax submission.
• Assist external auditors during annual audits.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
