Job summary

B & W CORPORATE SERVICES SDN BHD is seeking an Accounts Associate to support SMEs with day-to-day accounting tasks. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, and you will handle full sets of accounts, bank reconciliations, and basic financial reporting under supervision.

The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software; good English communication, Mandarin preferred for client interactions, and the ability to work independently while coaching junior staff.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
• Qualified or partly qualified in professional accounting bodies (MIA, ACCA, MICPA, CTIM and other relevant bodies) if further studies undertaken.
• Must have completed appropriate accounting degree.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and preferably with knowledge of accounting software SQL.
• Must be able to communicate in English, Candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking clients.
• Must be able to work independently, review and coach junior staff members and follow up on their progress
• At least 1 to 2 years working experience in similar capacity is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts for several SMEs.
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements.
• Prepare financial reports and analyses to facilitate management discussions.
• Provide general administrative support on accounting and finance matters.
