Fortier Wines & Spirits Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated Accountant to support daily financial operations in Kuala Lumpur. You will process invoices, perform reconciliations, and assist with month-end close.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 2 years of accounting experience, with strong accuracy and communication skills. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years in accounting or finance roles.
• Computer literate with knowledge of accounting software.
• Able to work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience in stock counts or inventory systems preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Process invoices and verify payment requests to ensure timely payments.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with journal entries and month-end close; ensure data entry accuracy.
• Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Prepare monthly sales commissions and verify against targets.
• Monitor day-end sales closing and cash flow; ensure statutory obligations are timely.
• Assist audits by providing documents and reports.
• Maintain vendor and stakeholder relations related to payments.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile with system records.
