Job summary

Infinite QL Group Of Companies in Malaysia seeks an Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting and finance functions. The role covers full set accounts, AR/AP, invoicing, inventory, monthly management accounts and statutory requirements.

Qualifications include a Diploma/Degree in Accounting or related field and at least 3 years of relevant SME experience. Proficiency in Excel and accounting software is essential for timely reporting.

Responsibilities

• Handle and maintain full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for management review
• Monitor cash flow, outstanding receivables and upcoming payment commitments
• Maintain proper filing and supporting documentation for all accounting transactions
• Prepare and issue sales invoices and related documentation
• Prepare and send monthly debtor statements to customers
• Monitor Accounts Receivable ageing and follow up on outstanding payments
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders to suppliers
• Verify supplier invoices against Purchase Orders and supporting documents

Job description

We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Accounts Executive to manage the day-to-day accounting and finance functions of our company. This position is suitable for someone who is comfortable handling full set accounts independently, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, inventory transactions, monthly management accounts and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

Handle and maintain full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records

Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for management review

Monitor cash flow, outstanding receivables and upcoming payment commitments

Maintain proper filing and supporting documentation for all accounting transactions

Prepare and issue sales invoices and related documentation

Prepare and send monthly debtor statements to customers

Monitor Accounts Receivable ageing and actively follow up with customers on outstanding payments

Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) to suppliers

Verify supplier invoices against Purchase Orders and supporting documents

About you

Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, LCCI or equivalent professional qualification

Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within an SME environment

Experience handling full set accounts independently is strongly preferred

Good understanding of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, bank reconciliation and General Ledger

Familiar with SST and Malaysia e-Invoice requirements

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Able to communicate effectively with customers and follow up professionally on overdue payments

Organised, responsible and attentive to detail

Able to work independently and meet monthly reporting and statutory deadlines
