Job summary

EITA Resources Bhd, a Bursa-listed company since 2012, is seeking an Accounts Executive to support financial operations. You will manage general ledger, monthly accruals, and quarterly Bursa announcements while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities include overseeing AP/AR, cash management, project finance tracking, tax compliance, and audit preparation, with a focus on compliance with governance and internal procedures.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Finance/Accounting is required.
Good understanding of accounting policies, tax compliance, and audit processes.
Strong organizational skills with high attention to accuracy and detail.

Responsibilities

Maintain full sets of accounts, general ledgers, prepayments, and monthly accruals while preparing timely management reports and quarterly Bursa announcements.
Oversee supplier invoices, staff claims, payment vouchers, customer receipts, banking transactions, and cash flow tracking.
Collaborate with internal departments to track project progress, report issues to superiors, and prepare financial reports and analyses.
Ensure timely corporate and statutory tax filings, prepare tax returns, and assist in audit preparations and documentation.
Verify accounting documents for accuracy and ensure compliance with company policies, authority manuals, and payment procedures.

Job description

As an Accounts Executive, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of our company. Your responsibilities will include managing general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury functions, project coordination, tax compliance, and audit preparation.

What will you be doing?

Full Spectrum Accounting

Maintain full sets of accounts, general ledgers, prepayments, and monthly accruals while preparing timely management reports and quarterly Bursa announcements.

AP, AR & Cash Management

Oversee supplier invoices, staff claims, payment vouchers, customer receipts, banking transactions, and cash flow tracking.

Project Financial Support

Collaborate with internal departments to track project progress, report issues to superiors, and prepare financial reports and analyses.

Tax & Audit Compliance

Ensure timely corporate and statutory tax filings, prepare tax returns, and assist in audit preparations and documentation.

Internal Governance

Verify accounting documents for accuracy and ensure compliance with company policies, authority manuals, and payment procedures.

Are you the one?

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Finance / Accounting.

1 to 2 years of experience handling full or partial sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL).

Good understanding of accounting policies, tax compliance, and audit processes.

Strong organizational skills with high attention to accuracy and detail.
