Job summary

Arcc in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is looking for an experienced Accountant to manage the full spectrum of accounts payable and receivable, reconcile banks, and maintain the fixed asset register. You will prepare monthly management reports, ensure timely financial reporting, and coordinate with auditors, tax agents and authorities under the guidance of the Group Finance Manager in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Finance/Accounting.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of full set of accounts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas/macros), Word.
• Experience with XERO accounting software; knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.
• Detail-oriented, organised and a proactive team player.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for full spectrum of AR activities: invoice issuance, AR collection & monitoring.
• Be responsible for full spectrum of AP activities: recording bills, payments to suppliers and processing petty cash reimbursements.
• Prepare bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, maintaining the fixed asset register and generating weekly reports.
• Assist in preparing monthly management reports.
• Ensure timely, accurate month-end, quarterly and annual financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, bankers, local tax and government authorities where required.
• Support and ensure compliance with all corporate tax & other financial filing requirements.
• Handle day-to-day finance queries from stakeholders.
• Partake in finance related process improvements and initiatives.
• Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
