Job summary

Jeram Saga Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced accountant to manage day-to-day accounting across multiple projects and operations in a stable, long-term role.

The role requires strong knowledge of UBS Accounting Software, Excel, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.

You will handle transactions, AP/AR, invoicing, supplier invoices, bank reconciliations, and assist with audits, tax, and costing across construction projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience handling full sets of accounting records or substantial day-to-day accounting functions.
• Proficient in UBS Accounting Software.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Able to work independently and manage deadlines.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Construction industry experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers and receipts
• Process supplier and subcontractor invoices
• Monitor outstanding payments and collections
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records
• Assist with project-related costing and financial tracking
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, auditors, tax agents and other external parties when required
• Assist with audit, tax and statutory matters
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as required
