Skyways Technics A/S in Malaysia is seeking an experienced accounting professional to handle full set accounting using Auto Count for a growing company. You will maintain the general ledger, perform month-end close, and manage inter-company reconciliations.

Responsibilities include AP/AR processing, bank reconciliations, tax computations, and assisting in audit schedules. You will report to Finance Manager and collaborate with Finance Director.

Formación

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy; professional qualifications preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of full-set accounts experience.
• Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and ERP software.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with initiative.

Responsabilidades

• Full set accounting for a growing company using Auto Count accounting system.
• Maintain the general ledge by performing accurate journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
• Accountable for full-cycle month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Conduct monthly bank, balance sheet and inter-company reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing audit schedules, tax computations and other compliance filings.
• Assist in GP margin analysis and closing activities.

Responsibilities

General Ledger (GL) & Reporting

• Full set accounting for a growing company using Auto Count accounting system.
• Maintain the general ledge by performing accurate journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
• Accountable for full-cycle month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Conduct monthly bank, balance sheet and inter-company reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing audit schedules, tax computations and other compliance filings.
• Assist in GP margin analysis and closing activities.

Accounts Payable (AP)

• Match vendor invoices with purchase orders and receiving logs.
• Process supplier payments via TT or GIRO.
• Reconcile monthly vendor statements and general ledger accounts.
• Resolve billing discrepancies with suppliers and internal departments.

Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Issue sales invoices, credit notes and debit notes accurately.
• Monitor customer aging reports with credit controller, supporting on collection of overdue.
• Perform customer account and bank receipt reconciliations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Reporting to the Finance Manager, with access to the Finance Director.
• Ambitious with a hunger for learning, development and career progression.
• At least 2 years of working experience in handling full set accounts.
• Must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Accountancy with professional qualifications.
• Fast-paced environment with opportunity for suggestions to be implemented.
• Initiative and independence are valued skills for this role.
• Technical skills requirement: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and experience with accounting software or ERP systems (e.g., Auto Count, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
