Job summary

Senheng Electric (KL) Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to manage daily operations and support month-end closing. The role involves AP/AR/GL, invoicing, SST and tax-related tasks, bank reconciliations and audits.

The ideal candidate has a degree in accounting or finance, at least 1 year of experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience.
• Experience handling full set of accounts.
• Good understanding of month-end closing process.
• Familiar with accounting software (e.g., SQL).
• Good Excel skills; detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations (AP, AR, GL).
• Prepare payment vouchers and process payments; issue invoices and monitor collections.
• Prepare e-invoices and SST returns; support cash flow and treasury.
• Perform bank and inter-company reconciliations; assist monthly closing and reports.
• Prepare audit schedules; liaise with auditors and tax agents.
• Maintain documentation and filing; ensure compliance with policies and statutory requirements.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superior.
