Job summary

Scientex Park (M) Sdn Bhd is hiring an Accounts Executive for its Shah Alam office. You will support accounting and finance functions, maintain records, prepare reports, and assist in closing and budgeting processes.

The role requires a Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, at least 2 years in accounts/finance, and proficiency in accounting software and MS Office. English, Malay, and Mandarin are a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position with immediate vacancy.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records (receivable/payable).

• Handle data entry, reports, filing and administrative tasks.
• Assist in monthly closing of management accounts.
• Support Accounts & Finance in audits, tax, and budgeting.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in budget preparation.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports per Group requirements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Scientex Property Division as an Accounts Executive. This is a full-time, office-based role in Shah Alam, Selangor. You will be responsible for supporting the accounting and finance functions of the company.

What you'll be doing

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable and payable.

Preparing financial reports and statements as required.

Reconciling bank accounts and general ledger accounts.

Responsible for data key in and reports compiling, printing, filing and administrative tasks.

Handling of monthly closing of management accounts.

Assist in account closing / audit / tax / budget, providing support to the Accounts & Finance Department.

Monitoring cash flow and preparation of budgets.

Preparation of ad-hoc reports as per requirement of Group requirements.

Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as maybe assigned by the superior or Company.

What we're looking for

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.

Knowledge of basic Accounting principle is compulsory.

Minimum two (2) years' experience in an accounts or finance role, preferably in Property Developer industry.

Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.

Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications.

Good communication skills with required language(s): English, Malay and Mandarin will be an added advantage.
