LALITHAA JEWELLERY (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking an Accounts Executive to join our Accounting department in Kuala Lumpur.

This full-time role focuses on managing accounts payable processes, invoicing accuracy, and maintaining strong vendor relationships to support the company’s financial health. The ideal candidate has 5 years of accounts payable experience, strong Excel skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles relevant to payables.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Diploma or Degree).
• 5 years experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in high-volume transactions.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Professional communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Understanding of accounting principles and practices relevant to accounts payable functions.

Responsibilities

• Processing and verifying invoices from suppliers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Recording accounts payable transactions in the accounting system with precision and attention to detail.
• Reconciling vendor statements and investigating discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records.
• Managing payment schedules and ensuring timely processing of supplier payments.
• Maintaining organised filing systems and documentation for audit trails and compliance purposes.
• Communicating with vendors regarding payment inquiries, discrepancies and payment status.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end close activities, including reconciliations and accruals.
• Supporting the preparation of accounts payable reports and financial statements.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the accounts payable function.
