Job summary

Hitec Metal Sdn Bhd is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support daily financial operations in Kajang. You will maintain bank balances and petty cash, assist in day-to-day accounting, and enter transactions into the accounting system.

Responsibilities include accounts payable activities, processing staff expense claims, and performing general filing and book-keeping tasks. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, with a diploma or degree in finance or accounting and 1–2 years of related experience

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advance diploma/Bachelor's Degree in finance/accountancy or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of related experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain bank balance information & petty cash records.
• Assisting in day-to-day accounting operations and data entry of transactions in accounting system.
• Administer the day-to-day accounts payable function and maintain appropriate records (including post trade & non-trade supplier invoices and prepare payment voucher).
• Process staff expense claims and ensure the claims are properly authorized.
• Perform day-to-day administration tasks i.e. filing, book keeping.
