EMS TEST MEASUREMENT SDN BHD is hiring an Accounts Assistant to support daily accounting and finance operations in Kajang. You will handle accounts payable/receivable, processing payments, reconciliation and maintaining accurate records.

Requirements include a diploma/degree in accounting or related field, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with accounting software. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply and 1–2 years of experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with accounting software such as SQL, Auto Count, UBS, SAP or similar.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to maintain accurate records.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions and maintain proper records.
• Prepare and process supplier invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and documents.
• Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• Perform bank, supplier and customer reconciliations.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments.
• Verify invoices against PO/DO and supporting documents.
• Assist in preparing payments (online banking/cheques).
• Maintain filing of invoices and documents.
• Assist month-end closing and accounting reports.
• Assist in audits, tax, SST and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers and internal departments on billing and payments.
• Monitor company expenses, claims and petty cash.
• Perform other accounting and admin duties as assigned.
