Job summary

We are seeking an Account Assistant to support finance functions, including AP/AR, invoicing, PO issuance, SST records, and staff claims processing. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in accounting and be fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

At least 1 year of relevant experience is preferred, with familiarity in accounting software such as SQL Accounting. The role requires good attention to detail, independence, and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in accounting or equivalent.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin/Cantonese preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Familiar with accounting software; SQL Accounting preferred.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Responsible, organised, and able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily AP and AR transactions.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices and credit notes.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders to suppliers.
• Process and maintain staff claims and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate SST and statutory records.
• Assist the Account Executive with daily accounting and administrative tasks.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
