Job summary

KH Hardware Enterprise Sdn Bhd is seeking an Account Assistant Clerk to join our Kajang, Selangor-based finance team on a full-time basis. You will help maintain accurate financial records, process invoices, and support efficient accounting workflows.

The role requires basic accounting knowledge, strong numeracy, and proficiency in Excel and Word, with good English and Malay communication. Training will be provided for accounting systems as needed.

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent with passes in Mathematics and English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience in accounts/finance or data entry/record-keeping.
• Strong numeracy and accuracy in financial figures.
• Good written and verbal communication in English and Malay.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to learn accounting practices and systems.

Responsibilities

• Processing and recording financial transactions including invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Maintaining and updating accounts payable and accounts receivable records in the accounting system.
• Assisting with the preparation of financial documents and reconciliation of accounts.
• Filing and organising financial documents and records for easy retrieval.
• Supporting the accounts team with bank reconciliations and cash handling procedures.
• Responding to customer and supplier queries regarding invoices and payments.
• Assisting with month-end close procedures and preparation of financial reports.
• Performing data entry tasks accurately and maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
• Supporting other finance team members to ensure smooth department operations.
