A & O Food Industries (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, Masai, Johor, invites applications for an Account Assistant to join our finance team. This full-time role supports day-to-day accounting operations and ensures accurate record-keeping in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

You will process transactions, maintain records, assist with month-end close and liaise with suppliers and internal departments. Proficiency in Excel and accounting software is required; English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin

Qualifications

Qualification in accounting, book-keeping or related financial discipline or equivalent practical experience.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong numeracy with accuracy and attention to detail.
Written and verbal communication in English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin.

Responsabilités

Process and record financial transactions including invoices, receipts and expense claims.
Maintain accurate and organised financial records and documentation.
Prepare reconciliations of accounts and identify discrepancies.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Support preparation of financial reports and statements.
Perform data entry and maintain financial databases.
Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
Support audits and provide documentation as required.
Liaise with suppliers, customers and internal departments on financial matters.
Perform general administrative duties to support the finance function.
