Penchala Infrastructure Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support daily accounting and finance operations in Kuala Lumpur. You will assist with maintaining accurate records, processing invoices and payments, and preparing basic financial reports.
The role covers accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, payroll processing, and assisting with audits and statutory matters, with opportunities to learn and grow in a dynamic company.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Assistant to support the daily accounting and finance operations of the company. The successful candidate will assist with maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices and payments, reconciling accounts, and preparing basic financial reports.
Key responsibilities
Handle daily accounting and administrative tasks.
Record and maintain accurate accounting transactions.
Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Perform bank, supplier, and customer account reconciliations.
Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on payments when required.
Assist with monthly closing and preparation of management reports.
Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records.
Assist in preparing documents for audits and tax-related matters.
Ensure accounting records are complete, accurate, and up to date.
Assist the Director and Accounts Manager with ad‑hoc finance related tasks.
Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures and policies.
Process monthly payroll on time and maintain accurate payroll records.
Process monthly statutory payments and submissions, including EPF, SOCSO, SKBBK, EIS, PCB, and other relevant statutory requirements.
Administrative & Licensing Operations:
Assist in the application, renewal, and maintenance of company business licenses, statutory permits, and official registrations.
Prepare, format, and organize official administrative letters, regulatory filings, and corporate documentation.
Maintain systematic physical and digital filing systems for company contracts, operational records, and administrative documents.
Coordinate general office administrative tasks, supplies, and communications across internal teams and external agencies.
Provide general administrative and ad‑hoc operational support to the Director and Management team as needed.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; relevant experience is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Experience with accounting software such as AutoCount, SQL Accounting, UBS, Xero, or similar is an advantage.
Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Good organizational and time‑management skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsible, trustworthy, and willing to learn.
