Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and process payment vouchers, receipts, invoices, and journal entries.
• Maintain accurate and complete accounting records and supporting documents.
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile supplier and customer accounts.
• Monitor outstanding payments and receivables to ensure timely settlement and collection.
• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Prepare schedules for month-end and year-end closing.
• Assist in preparing profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports.
• Analyse accounting discrepancies and investigate unusual transactions.
• Provide financial information and reports to management when required.
• Assist in preparing documents for tax submissions, audits, and statutory reporting.
• Ensure accounting records comply with applicable accounting standards and company procedures.
• Assist with EInvoice-related documentation and submissions, where applicable.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and relevant authorities when required.
• Ensure all financial documents are properly filed and readily available for reference.
• Ensure accounting records are maintained in accordance with applicable Malaysian accounting standards and company procedures.
• Assist in maintaining proper documentation for LHDN audits and other compliance requirements.
• Monitor daily sales, expenses, and cash transactions, where applicable.
• Verify invoices, purchase orders, delivery orders, and payment supporting documents.
• Assist in budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and expense control.
• Maintain proper filing systems for financial records.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.
• Assist in improving accounting processes and internal controls.
