Job summary

Ayah Gepuk Pak Gembus is seeking an Accounts Executive to support Finance operations in Malaysia. The role involves ensuring all AP/AR and Cash Book transactions are accurately posted to the General Ledger, preparing journal entries, and supporting monthly and annual closings.

You will maintain balance sheet schedules and review variances with relevant departments. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and have strong analytical and liaison skills with auditors and tax agents.

Qualifications

• Experience posting to General Ledger and maintaining AP/AR ledgers.
• Ability to perform journal entries including accruals and prepayments.
• Experience with month-end and year-end closing activities and balance sheet schedules.
• Familiarity with audit requirements and liaising with auditors and tax agents.

Responsibilities

• Review and ensure AP, AR, and Cash Book transactions are posted to the General Ledger.
• Prepare and post journal entries including accruals, prepayments, and reclassifications.
• Perform monthly GL reconciliations and support month-end/year-end closing.
• Maintain monthly balance sheet schedules (receivables, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets).
• Review revenue and expense accounts and investigate variances.
