Job summary

RODA LAND SDN. BHD. in Malaysia invites an experienced Accountant to oversee the company’s accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with local tax regulations.

The role covers inventory accounting, COGS, AR/AP, and financial controls related to purchasing and sales. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance, CPA/ACCA is preferred, and has 1–3 years of practical experience using AutoCount and Excel in a group accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred.
• CPA/ACCA certification may be required or advantageous.
• Proficiency in AutoCount/Excel and e-invoicing systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closings.
• Maintain the general ledger and oversee journal entries and reconciliations.
• Analyse financial results and provide reports and recommendations.
• Oversee inventory accounting, COGS, AR/AP, and internal controls.
