Job summary

R&A LOGISTIC SOLUTION SDN BHD is seeking a Senior Account Executive to manage the full accounting cycle and provide accurate financial information for management decisions. You will handle GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end closings with strong attention to detail.

The role requires independent work, solid accounting knowledge, and experience in logistics-related finance.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA) is an advantage.
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience; independent full set accounting.
• Industry experience in logistics/transportation/trading preferred; software familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full set of accounts, including GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
• Generate P&L, balance sheets, cash flow, and budget reports.
• Handle AP/AR processes: supplier invoices, collections, and invoicing.
• Assist in year-end audit and tax matters; ensure SST and statutory compliance.
• Coordinate payroll-related accounting entries and statutory payments.
• Liaise with internal departments and external parties; ensure accurate records.
