Job summary

MR. ROBOT SDN. BHD. is seeking a qualified accountant to manage a full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and fixed assets, ensuring accuracy and timely month-end closing.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of accounting principles, and proficiency in SQL Accounting Software and Excel. You will liaise with auditors and support financial reporting and compliance matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant working experience in handling a full set of accounts.
• Strong knowledge in AP, AR, GL, invoicing, bank reconciliations and month-end closing.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Handle a full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, and accounting transactions.
• Ensure accurate financial records, proper documentation, and timely month-end closing.
• Prepare journal entries, debit notes, credit notes, and other accounting adjustments.
• Perform bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support monthly financial reporting and management information preparation.
• Manage cash flow, customer collections, supplier payments, and working capital requirements.
• Handle and maintain documentation for LC and BA.
• Maintain proper accounting records, filing systems, and compliance documentation.
• Liaise with auditors, company secretaries, bankers, suppliers, and relevant authorities.
• Support audits, statutory requirements, and finance-related compliance matters.
• Collaborate with Finance and other departments on operational matters.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and efficiency.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by Management.
