Job summary

UTARA 5 FOOD AND BEVERAGE SDN. BHD. is seeking an Accounts Manager in Selangor to lead the accounting team. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, compliance with standards, and strategic financial planning to support the company’s growth in Malaysia.

You will oversee accounts payable/receivable, GL, and bank reconciliations, prepare financial statements, and monitor cash flow and budgets. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and familiarity with QuickBooks and Auto Count.

Qualifications

• Overseeing the accounting department and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Supervising accounting staff and maintaining proper records.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and management reports (P&L, Balance Sheets).
• Monitor cash flow, budgets and forecasts; ensure timely recording of transactions.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and prepare tax filings and statutory reports.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff; review work and manage deadlines.
• Suggest process improvements and automation to strengthen internal controls.
