CHUNG NYAP YOON MACHINERY SDN BHD is seeking an entry-level accounting assistant based in Petaling Jaya. The role emphasizes accurate data entry of invoices, receipts and other transactions, alongside assisting daily accounting operations to keep records up to date.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Degree in Accounting or Finance, with basic accounting knowledge and Excel skills, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Accounting or Finance required or preferred.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and data entry.
Familiarity with accounting software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Perform accurate and timely data entry of invoices, receipts, payments, expenses and other transactions into the accounting system.
Assist in daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payment processing and invoice checking.
Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records such as invoices, vouchers, receipts, and statements.
Assist in checking and reconciling accounting information by verifying transactions and resolving discrepancies.
Support month-end closing and related reporting to ensure deadlines are met.
Follow up with internal departments and suppliers to obtain missing documents for processing.
