Private Advertiser in Sabah, Malaysia seeks a senior finance leader to oversee the company’s financial operations across departments, providing strategic guidance on planning, tax optimisation, and project feasibility, while supporting day-to-day decision-making and long-term growth.

The role also guides audit, compliance and policy alignment, coordinating with auditors and ensuring timely reporting, cost optimization and resource allocation to sustain profitability in Sabah, Malaysia.

The role is responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations,ensuring effective coordination across departments, & providing strategic guidance on financial planning, tax optimisation, & project feasibility. This role focuses on high-level financial leadership & advisory functions, supporting both day by day decision-making & long-term business growth. The position may also provide guidance for audit, compliance & policy aligment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop,monitor, & control annual budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Conduct financial analysis to support strategic & operational decision-making.

Tax & Audit Compliance

Ensure compliance with local & national tax regulations

Identify & apply available tax incentives or benefits for new production setups or business expansions.

Coordinate with auditors, ensuring readliness, transparency & timely reporting.

Cross-Deparmental & Operational Oversight

Align finance with HR, procurement, & operations to ensure smooth workflows.

Support cross-departmental coordination to achieve company objectives.

Strategic Planning

Advise management on financial feasibility of new projects & set ups.

Provide insights on cost optimization & resource allocation

Contribute to long - term financial stategy & sustainability.
