Job summary

KALYX CONSULTANTS SDN. BHD. in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking an accountant to prepare full set of accounts and tax computations with timely SST reporting and personal tax submissions.

The role includes analysing accounts, meeting monthly targets, and coordinating with clients, auditors, and IRB officers. A supervisor will oversee a small team and review work by juniors and seniors. Fresh graduates are welcome; fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia are expected, with Mandarin a plus.

• Preparation and submission of SST reporting in an accurate and timely manner
• Ensure timely submission of personal tax

• Assist in any ad-hoc duties as and when assigned
• To conduct meeting with client for every job complete
• Fast respond to client in order to maintain good relationship with client

Job Requirements

Degree / Diploma level or other similar qualification and above

Preferable with 1 year of experience in accounting field

MS office skills required

Agile and flexible

An eye for detail and be highly organized

Ability to prioritize work and to multitask

Fluent in written and spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia, proficiency in Mandarin would be a plus due to nature of existing client

Basic IT knowledge and technique on Microsoft Office and Accounting Software

Good communication capabilities, ability to convey ideas to anyone in company
