Job summary

Darco Water Systems Sdn. Bhd. in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan invites applications for an Account Officer to join our accounting team on a full-time basis.

The role supports the Finance Department in daily accounting tasks and contributes to accurate financial operations. Responsibilities include processing transactions, assisting AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end close. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with emphasis on accuracy, teamwork, and communication in English and Bahasa

Qualifications

• LCCI, Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Familiar with accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Ability to speak and write in Mandarin is preferred to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Knowledge of Malaysian accounting practices and tax requirements will be an added advantage

• Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records and supporting documents
• Assist in preparing bank reconciliations and checking transaction discrepancies
• Perform data entry and verification of financial information in the accounting system
• Assist in preparing accounting schedules, reports and supporting documents
• Assist in processing staff claims and reimbursements
• Assist in following up with suppliers, customers and internal departments on account-related matters
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting records
• Provide general administrative support to the Finance Department
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by the superior

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Account Officer to join our accounting team in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan on a full-time basis. This role is central to maintaining the financial integrity of Darco Water Systems, ensuring accurate record-keeping and efficient financial operations. The Account Officer will support the Finance Department in managing day-to-day accounting functions, contributing to the overall financial health and compliance of the organisation. Key Responsibilities

Assist in processing and recording daily accounting transactions, including invoices, receipts and payment documents

Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
