Darco Water Systems Sdn. Bhd. in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan invites applications for an Account Officer to join our accounting team on a full-time basis.

The role supports the Finance Department in daily accounting tasks and contributes to accurate financial operations. Responsibilities include processing transactions, assisting AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end close. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with emphasis on accuracy, teamwork, and communication in English and Bahasa

Qualifications

• LCCI, Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Familiar with accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Ability to speak and write in Mandarin is preferred to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Knowledge of Malaysian accounting practices and tax requirements will be an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing and recording daily accounting transactions, including invoices, receipts and payment documents
• Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
• Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records and supporting documents
• Assist in preparing bank reconciliations and checking transaction discrepancies
• Perform data entry and verification of financial information in the accounting system
• Assist in preparing accounting schedules, reports and supporting documents
• Assist in processing staff claims and reimbursements
• Assist in following up with suppliers, customers and internal departments on account-related matters
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting records
• Provide general administrative support to the Finance Department
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by the superior
