Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a sales and marketing professional to implement strategic marketing and sales directions, respond to inquiries, and deliver compelling product demonstrations to clients and senior management.

The role focuses on building relationships, pursuing new business, and preparing tender documentation while coordinating procurement, delivery, and project closure activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma in marketing or equivalent.
• 2+ years in sales/marketing, preferably in interior design or office furniture.
• Must be self-motivated, sales-driven and results-oriented.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Proficient in English; Mandarin preferred for client communication.
• Computer literate (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, email). AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute marketing and sales directions to achieve sales targets.
• Respond to new sales inquiries promptly.
• Deliver sales presentations to customers and management, demo product features.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers and identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare tender documentation, proposals, and quotations to meet client expectations.
• Track project progress and support timely project delivery and implementation.
• Assist with purchase requisitions and ensure accurate procurement quantities and items ordered.
• Coordinate delivery, installation dates, and submit closure reports for billing.
• Compile monthly and ad-hoc reports and support credit control.
• Respond to customer complaints promptly to uphold service quality.

Plan/Execute given marketing & sales direction to achieve assigned sales objectives

To respond to new sales inquiries.

To deliver sales presentation to customers, senior management and demonstration of the products features and functions.

Good networking in sales and able to approach potential customers in promoting the product and services.

Maintain and strengthen relationship with existing customers and identify new business opportunities.

Prepare tender documentation, proposal and quotation to meet client expectation.

To assist in tracking of team's project progress

To handle and act as liaison party to facilitate timely and successful implementation of team’s projects

To assist with purchase requisition forms as well as to ensure accuracy of procurement quantity, finishes and types.

To ensure all items are ordered.

To follow up delivery and installation dates.

To submit closure reports for billing after verification by project team

To compile Monthly Reports and ad-hoc reporting.

To support credit control on collection.

Responses to and resolves customer complaints and comments on a timely basis, ensures quality standards for customer service.To ensure customer’s satisfaction is met and to uphold company’s excellent reputation

Competency Requirement

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in marketing, or any equivalent field.

Working experience in interior design or office furniture related industry and familiar with the context.

Must be self-motivated, sales oriented and results driven.

Good teamwork skills.

Good communication and presentation skills.

Good command of English, speaking Mandarin language will be preferred. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Computer literate (Excel, Words, Powerpoint, Emails & etc), AutoCad will be added advantage.

Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in the sales and marketing.
