Job summary

FLORA SENTOSA SERVICES SDN BHD is seeking a finance professional to manage the full set of accounts, including GL, AP, AR, and fixed assets. You will close monthly and yearly periods, post journals, and prepare management reports and financial statements.

The role requires 2–3 years of accounting experience, with strong AutoCount and advanced Excel skills. You will liaise with auditors and support budgeting and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Finance/Accountancy, ACCA or related field.
• 2-3 years of accounting experience with knowledge of full set accounts.
• Proficiency in AutoCount and advanced MS Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and ability to multitask under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Asset).
• Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures accurately.
• Prepare and post journals, accruals, prepayments and adjustments.
• Prepare timely monthly management reports, P&L statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
• Conduct monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Perform variance analysis and provide commentary on financial performance.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretary for audits and filings.
• Maintain proper documentation for financial transactions and audits.
• Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed assets records and depreciation.
• Support process improvements and system enhancements for finance function.

• Handle the full set of account, including General Ledger (GL), Account Payable (AP), Account Receivable (AR) and Fixed Asset.
• Perform month-end and end year end closing procedure accurately and within stipulated deadliness.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepayments and adjustments.
• Prepare timely monthly management reports, profit & loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
• Conduct monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Perform variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on financial performance .
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecast.

Compliance & Audits

• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretary for annual audits, tax filings (Corporate Income Tax, GST/VAT), and statutory submissions.
• Maintain proper and organized documentation for all financial transactions and audits.

Operational Tasks

• Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate records of fixed assets and depreciation.
• Support process improvements and system enhancements for finance function.

Requirement :
