Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a detail‑oriented accounting professional to manage the full set of accounts and deliver timely monthly financial reports. You will handle AR/AP/GL, payroll processing, and assist with audits while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2–3 years of experience, familiarity with AutoCount, and strong Excel skills, with fluency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia to service a diverse client base.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience (full set).
• Familiar with AutoCount or similar accounting system.
• Proficient in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written).
• Handle confidential information professionally.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts including AR, AP, GL, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Monitor AR aging and follow up on collections.
• Prepare payment vouchers and process supplier and expense payments.
• Reconcile customer payments across branches and payment channels.
• Monitor daily bank balances and manage cash flow.
• Oversee payroll processing and salary payments.
• Maintain accounting records and documentation.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and authorities.
• Perform ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
