Job summary

KOTHREE GROUP SDN BHD is seeking a capable accounting professional in Penang to prepare full sets of accounts and perform day-to-day financial tasks. The role involves handling AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing, with responsibility for timely financial reporting and statutory statements.

Ideal candidates have a degree in accounting or ACCA, 2+ years of experience, and familiarity with QuickBooks or AutoCount. Strong communication and multitasking abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare full sets of accounts for the business entity.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports.
• Handle statutory financial statements.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned or requested by the superior.

Key responsibilities

Prepare full sets of accounts for the business entity

Process AP, AR, bank reconciliation, month-end closing

Maintain client account transactions, auditing, statutory and others

Perform day to day financial accounting functions

Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports

Handle statutory financial statements

Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned or requested by the superior

About you

Able to handle full set of accounts (AP, AR, & GL)

Minimum Degree in Accounting / ACCA

At least 2 years of working experience in the related field with full set of accounts

Experience in Quickbook or Autocount software is an advantage

Prior audit experience is an advantage

Good communication, interpersonal skills, and administrative skills

Good team player with positive attitude

Fast learner

Strong attention to detail

Able to work independently and multitask

Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
