Job summary

Talent Recruit is seeking an Accounts Executive based in Bangsar, KL, to manage the full set of local accounts for a pastry café expanding its operations. The role covers GL, AP, tax, financial reporting, and cashflow management with involvement in CI and consolidations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting and at least 2 years of accounting experience, with proficiency in English and Bahasa Melayu.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Accounting.
• Experience with bookkeeping practices.
• Experience with accounting system.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Melayu.

Responsibilities

• In-charge of the entire set of accounts for subsidiaries (local).
• Responsible to GL, AP, and tax functions.
• Prepare management account on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
• Review and comment on management account.
• Prepare bank reconciliation.
• Monitor and forecast cashflow / bank balance.
• Involve in continuous improvement activities relating to finance department (CI).
• Liaise with external parties such as Tax agent, Auditors and Accounting firm.
• Assist in consolidation of Group Accounts.
• Assist in corporate finance exercise matters from time to time.
• Assist in ad-hoc matters assigned by superiors.

Job Description:
