Job summary

ZERO HEALTHCARE SDN. BHD. in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced accountant to manage a full set of accounts including GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations, ensuring accurate monthly closings.

The role requires hands-on GL, familiarity with Malaysia e-invoicing, budgeting, variance analysis, and liaison with auditors and tax agents. You will supervise junior staff and coordinate with other departments while upholding strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of working experience in accounting, account management, or client servicing.
• Hands-on experience in General Ledger (GL) accounting.
• Familiarity with AutoCount system is a plus.
• Proactive, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain full set of accounts including GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliation.

• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and cash flow statements.

• Monitor credit control and aging reports.
• Maintain proper documentation and internal control systems.
• Proactively supervise junior accounts staff and coordinate with other departments.

Job description

Prepare and maintain full set of accounts including GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliation.

Familiar with Malaysia e-invoicing requirements and electronic invoice processing workflows, add this in taxation & statutory compliance.

Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.

Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and cash flow statements.

Perform variance analysis and assist in budgeting and forecasting.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance:

Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and government authorities.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

Oversee timely processing of payments, invoicing, and collections.

Monitor credit control and aging reports.

Internal Controls & Documentation:

Maintain proper documentation and internal control systems.

Recommend improvements to accounting processes and systems.

Team Support:

Supervise and provide guidance to junior accounts staff.

Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Ad Hoc Tasks:

Handle any other finance-related duties or assignments as required by management.

Requirements:

Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Able to communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders.

Minimum 3–5 years of working experience in accounting, account management, or client servicing.

Hands-on experience in General Ledger (GL) accounting.

Familiarity with AutoCount system will be an added advantage.

Proactive, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

A team player with strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday (9am-6pm)
