Job summary

L&R Logistics is seeking an Account Executive to join our Finance & Accounts team in Shah Alam. You will handle full sets of accounts, ensure timely month-end closings, and support SST submissions and e-Invoicing for compliance.

The Role

We are looking for a meticulous and driven Account Executive to join our Finance & Accounts team. In this role, you will handle full sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL), manage daily billings and reconciliations, ensure smooth month-end closing, and support regulatory compliance—including SST filings and LHDN e-Invoicing. You will play a key role in maintaining cash flow integrity and precise financial records for our growing logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Full Sets of Accounts: Manage daily AP, AR, and GL transactions, prepare Journal Vouchers, and assist in monthly and year-end closing.
• Receivables & Invoicing: Issue customer invoices, credit notes, and monthly Statements of Account (SOA); follow up on outstanding receivables to ensure healthy cash flow.
• Payments & Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations, process payment vouchers and petty cash, and verify monthly HR payroll reports against payout figures.
• Statutory Compliance: Prepare and submit Sales and Service Tax (SST) returns and handle LHDN e-Invoice generation and submissions.
• Asset & Schedule Management: Maintain yearly schedules for Hire Purchase (HP), prepayments, depreciation, fixed assets, and fleet-related operational expense reports (diesel/inspections).
• Audit & Banking Liaison: Coordinate with banks, vendors, and external auditors to resolve payment queries and support year-end audit exercises.

What We're Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification.
• 2–4 years of experience handling full sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL), preferably in logistics, transport, or related industries.
• Practical knowledge of SST submissions and LHDN e-Invoicing requirements.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., AutoCount, SQL) and Microsoft Excel (formulas, lookups, reconciliation).
• High attention to detail, strong numerical accuracy, and good organizational skills.
• Good communication skills to liaise professionally with clients, suppliers, banks, and auditors.
