Job summary

Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a detail‑oriented accountant to manage day‑to‑day accounting, prepare financial reports, and support budgeting processes.

You will handle cashflow projections, draft statutory schedules, and assist with yearly audits and tax information, with a view to timely and accurate reporting. Immediate start preferred for a full‑time role at Menara Hap Seng.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or relevant field is required.
• 1–2 years of relevant work experience; audit or property development experience is a plus.
• Good knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
• Proactive, able to work in a team and independently.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day account operations such as processing transactions, issuing cheques, updating ledgers and generation of e-invoicing transactions.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports and other related schedules.
• Prepare cashflow projections weekly, monthly and yearly.
• Draft financial statements and compile audit schedules for yearly audit.
• Prepare tax information for yearly filing.
• Prepare annual budgeting and budget schedules.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.

Job Responsibilities:

• To handle full set of accounting and ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports and other related schedules.
• Prepare cashflow projection for weekly, monthly and yearly.
• Drafting the financial statements and compiling detailed audit schedules for yearly audit.
• Prepare tax information for yearly tax filing.
• Prepare annual budgeting and budget schedules on timely basis.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements:

• Applicants must possess at least Degree in Accounting/ Finance or relevant field.
• Applicants must have minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience. Experience in audit or property development industry will be an added advantage.
• Applicants must have good knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
• Proactive and able to work in a team as well as independently.
• Good problem solving and analytical skills.
• Able to start work immediately or preferably within a short period of notice.
• Full-time position is available at Menara Hap Seng, Jalan P. Ramlee KL.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 9.00am to 6.00pm

Friday: 9.00am to 5.30pm

Saturday (Alternate): 9.00am to 12.30pm
