Job summary

MEDIPULSE HEALTHCARE SDN BHD is looking for an experienced accountant to manage the full set of accounts, including general ledger, AP/AR, and fixed assets, while producing timely monthly management reports. You will perform bank reconciliations and journal vouchers, ensure compliance with regulations, liaise with tax agents and auditors, and oversee intercompany transactions and SST submissions.

Degree holders with ACCA/CPA/CIMA are preferred; SQL and Excel proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent required.
• ACCA/CPA/CIMA qualification is an advantage.
• Proficient in accounting software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts: GL, AP/AR, fixed assets.
• Prepare monthly management reports in a timely manner.
• Perform bank reconciliations and journal vouchers.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Liaise with tax agents, auditors for audits and tax filings.
• Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Process e-invoicing and SST submissions accurately.
• Handle other duties as assigned.

Job description

Manage the full set of accounts independently, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and fixed assets

Maintaining proper set of accounting records, timely preparation of monthly management report

Prepare bank reconciliation, journal voucher and related matters

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies

Liaise with tax agents, auditors, and other relevant parties for audit, tax filing, and statutory compliance

Ensure timely and accurate intercompany transactions and reconciliations

Manage and process e-invoicing and SST submission in compliance with government regulations and deadlines

Any other duties assigned

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent. Professional qualification such as ACCA/CPA/CIMA is a plus

Required language (s): English, Bahasa Malaysia.

Proficient in accounting software, such as SQL and Microsoft Excel

Accounting/Audit Firm background is preferred

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards
