Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an accounting professional to handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, and cost accounting. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, cash flow analysis, and regulatory compliance in Malaysia.

Candidate should hold a Diploma or higher in Accounting, be proficient with SQL accounting software, and work independently with precision. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma and above in Accounting or related fields.
• Familiar with cost accounting and internal financial management related processes.
• Proficient with SQL accounting software and proficient in other office software.
• Familiar with Malaysian taxation, customs, exchange and declaration matters.
• Knowledge of electronic invoicing (E-invoice) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, stock valuation, costing and financial reporting, cash flow and expenditures, and banking matters.
• Handling daily operations of accounting records and filing.
• Manage tax calculation and declaration.
• Interact with external auditors, authorities and tax agents on audits and income tax matters.
• Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirement

Perform accounts payable/ receivable, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, stock valuation, costing and financial reporting, cash flow and expenditures, and banking matter

Handling daily operations of accounting record & filing

Manage tax calculation and declaration

Interact with external auditors, authorities and tax agents on the accounting audit and income tax matters if required

Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements

Perform other duties and responsibility as assigned by superior

Diploma and above in Accounting or related fields

Familiar with cost accounting and internal financial management related processes

Proficient with SQL accounting software and proficient in other office software

Familiar with the laws and regulations of Malaysia's taxation, customs, foreign exchange and declaration matters

Knowledge and experience in electronic invoice operation (E-invoice) is preferred

Ability to work independently, aggressive, committed to work and positive working attitude, detail-oriented with focus on quality, accuracy, and efficiency.

Able to start work immediately or within short notice is preferred
