Job summary

Sharp DCM is seeking an Accounting Executive to manage day-to-day accounting tasks, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and support budgeting, forecasting, and audits. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities include monthly and yearly closings, journal entries, accounts reconciliation, audit preparation, and tax compliance. Diploma or degree in accounting or finance is required, with 1–3 years of relevant experience.

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and local tax regulations.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.
• Good organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monthly and yearly closings with journal entries for accruals, prepayments and other adjustments.
• Maintain efficient filing system for audit and statutory requirements.
• Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure timely payments.
• Assist in yearly financial audits, tax returns and prepare audit schedules/listings.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and other financial activities as needed.

The Accounting Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting the finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and auditing activities. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in a team.

Jobs Responsibility:

Assist in preparation of monthly and yearly closing, including preparation of journal entries for accruals, prepayments and other adjustments.

Maintain efficient filling system for audit and statutory requirement.

Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all payments are posted up to date.

Assist in yearly financial audit, tax return & prepare audit schedule / listing and other financial needs as necessary.

Jobs Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum [1–3] years of relevant working experience.

Strong knowledge of accounting standards and local tax regulations.

Good command of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.

Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
