Job summary

ZTE (MALAYSIA) CORPORATION SDN. BHD. 中兴通讯马来西亚 is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to manage billing, invoicing, and accounts receivable processes in Kuala Lumpur.

You will coordinate with project teams, monitor aging reports, and ensure timely invoicing and statement of accounts to customers. The role requires a degree in accounting, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and fluency in English and Mandarin for client communication.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all billings and posted on a timely basis.
• Follow up and monitor the collections aging report.
• Liaise with relevant departments for operational documents to support the billing and disbursement.
• Track and monitor ATC sign on and off.
• Data-entry for all AR related accounting transactions.
• Understand contractual obligations; incurred operationally are billable to customer.
• Assist in reconciliation and day-to-day operations and closing relating to general accounting.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned from time to time.
• Receive customer orders daily and update order data into the system.
• Issue and distribute accurate invoices upon instruction from project team to customer timely and follow up on invoice payments.
• Prepare statement of accounts to customers monthly.
• Maintain proper filing and document records.
• Resolve invoice rejection issues by clarifying with project manager and issue credit notes if necessary.

Job Qualifications & Requirements:

At least Degree in Accounting field.

Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office applications

Candidate whom able to pay attention to details is preferred

Can work independently with minimum supervision in a fast paced environment

Proficiency in English and Mandarin language is mandatory to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients (both written and spoken)
