Job summary

KZ Management Advisory Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Account Executive to join our SME-focused firm.

You will handle bookkeeping, prepare financial statements and management reports, manage client invoicing and cash flow, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax requirements. The role offers flexible hours, WFH option with approval, medical benefits, and performance-based bonuses. A degree in accounting with ACCA/CPA is preferred; one year of experience is an advantage;

Our services include financial accounting and reporting services, SST, tax advisory, company secretarial practices, business consultancy, and forensic accounting. We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our growing team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform bookkeeping and maintain accurate records of clients' financial transactions in the accounting system.

Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management accounts, and other accounting reports for clients.

Manage clients' daily financial operations, including the preparation of sales and supplier invoices, recording of receipts and payments, and monitoring of cash flow.

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, direct and indirect tax requirements, and other statutory obligations.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or a Professional Certificate (e.g. ACCA, CPA).

Proficiency in financial reporting, accounting principles, and bookkeeping.

Advanced proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, and related tools.

Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

A minimum of one (1) year of relevant accounting experience is an added advantage.

Experience in an accounting firm will be an added advantage.
