Qualifications

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, preferably within a small to medium practice environment.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.
• Understanding of Malaysian tax and accounting regulations is advantageous.
• Professional certification (Diploma/Bachelor in Accounting).

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team in Kuching, Sarawak. This is a full‑time position that plays a vital role in supporting our accounting operations. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible ensuring accurate financial record-keeping.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping.
• Prepare and reconcile financial statements, ledgers, and trial balances
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Maintain organised files and documentation in accordance with company standards

What we're looking for
