Job summary

Karisma Grating Sdn. Bhd. is a leader in steel grating manufacturing, seeking a competent accounting professional to manage daily AP/AR operations, invoicing, and bank reconciliations. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to statutory requirements in Malaysia.

Responsibilities include preparing vouchers and reports, coordinating with auditors, and ensuring accurate documentation. Manufacturing experience and proficiency in Excel are preferred.

• Perform bank reconciliation, journal entries and month-end closing.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and year-end accounting records.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and proper documentation.

Job description

Handle daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

Assist in preparing financial reports and year-end accounting records.

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, tax and statutory requirements.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience.

Manufacturing industry experience is preferred, especially in metal or steel fabrication.

Experience with AutoCount accounting software is an advantage.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Malaysian accounting requirements.

Able to work independently, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and a responsible attitude.
