Job summary

KIAN SOON SENG HARDWARE SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Accounts Executive to manage full set of accounts and support monthly closings. The role covers AP/AR/GL, bank reconciliations, and tax matters in a stable hardware and building materials company.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Accounting with 3+ years of relevant experience, and is proficient in SQL Accounting or AutoCount and Excel. English and Bahasa Malaysia fluency is required; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum LCCI, Diploma or Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Must be able to handle full set of accounts independently.
• Experience in hardware, building materials or trading companies is an advantage.
• Familiar with SQL Accounting, AutoCount or equivalent software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts, including AP, AR and GL
• Prepare monthly financial statements, Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
• Perform bank reconciliation and monthly closing
• Monitor customer outstanding payments and debtor aging reports
• Manage supplier payments and creditor aging reports
• Handle invoices, payment vouchers and daily accounting transactions
• Monitor inventory records and stock reconciliation
• Prepare cash flow reports and monthly management reports
• Assist with SST, e-Invoice, audit and tax matters
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents and banks

An established hardware and building materials supplier is seeking a responsible and experienced Accounts Executive to handle full set of accounts for the organisation.

Key responsibilities

Handle full set of accounts, including AP, AR and GL

Prepare monthly financial statements, Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet

Perform bank reconciliation and monthly closing

Monitor customer outstanding payments and debtor aging reports

Manage supplier payments and creditor aging reports

Handle invoices, payment vouchers and daily accounting transactions

About you
