A Malaysia-based CIDB G6 contractor providing steel fabrication, welding, and mechanical installation services for industrial and construction projects. The company focuses on delivering safe, compliant, and quality engineering solutions across various site and structural works in Malaysia.

Job Description:

• Handle full set or partial set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL)
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries accurately and on time
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation and account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records
• Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports, management reports, and supporting schedules
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely completion of accounts
• Maintain proper accounting records, documentation, and filing system
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on collections when necessary
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and internal departments for accounting and financial matters
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and tax requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience in handling full set accounts is an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SQL, AutoCount, or similar systems)
