Job summary

Rx Nine Trading Sdn Bhd, based in Johor Bahru, is looking for an Account Executive to join our Accounting department. This full-time role requires handling financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting finance operations to ensure smooth accounting processes.

As a key member of the finance team, you will work with accounting software, reconcile ledgers, assist with monthly and yearly statements, and liaise with banks and vendors.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently whilst being a collaborative team member.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Professional approach to handling confidential financial information.
• Knowledge of accounting regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Processing and recording financial transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts to ensure financial records are up-to-date and accurate.
• Preparing bank reconciliations and investigating any discrepancies.
• Processing invoices, expense claims and payments in accordance with company policies.
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Supporting the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Responding to queries from internal departments and external parties regarding financial information.
• Maintaining detailed records and documentation for audit purposes.
• Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and procedures.
• Liaising with banks, vendors and other external parties on financial matters.
