We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Account Executive to manage the company's full set of accounts, including housing development accounts, financial reporting, and daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, be able to work independently, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
Accounting & Finance
Handle full set of accounts including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and Bank Reconciliation.
Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and supporting schedules.
Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely data entry.
Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.
Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and account reconciliations.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Statutory & Compliance
Prepare schedules and documents for external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and government authorities.
Assist in annual audit, tax computation, and statutory filings.
Ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Handle E-invoice, SST, and other relevant tax matters where applicable.
Payroll & Administration
Assist in payroll processing, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB submissions.
Maintain employee payroll records and related documentation.
Assist in HR and administrative matters when required.
Other Responsibilities
Liaise with bankers, government agencies, customers, suppliers, and external parties.
Monitor debtor collections and creditor payments.
Assist in implementing and improving accounting procedures and internal controls.
Support management with ad-hoc reports and assignments.
Undertake any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
Diploma, Degree, or Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 2-3 years relevant accounting experience.
Experience in full set accounts is mandatory.
Experience in property development / housing development accounting will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of accounting software (Autocount).
Familiar with Malaysian tax regulations, audit requirements, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and payroll processing.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Good communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (added advantage).
