Job summary

Indah Utara Auto Sdn Bhd in Alor Setar, Kedah, is seeking an Account Executive to join our growing automotive team. You will manage daily accounting tasks, maintain records, and support monthly closings, working closely with internal departments to ensure financial accuracy.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance, with 1–3 years of experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, and knowledge of AutoCount is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of AutoCount accounting software is an advantage.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation.
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions including invoices, receipts, payments and journal entries.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile customer and supplier accounts.
• Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable and outstanding balances.
• Assist in monthly closing, financial schedules and management reporting.
• Verify and reconcile vehicle sales, payment and supplier transactions.
• Support audit preparation, SST, e-Invoicing and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions, including invoices, receipts, payments and journal entries.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile customer and supplier accounts.
