SYARIKAT SOUTH AUTO (K.L) SDN. BHD. is seeking an Account Clerk to join the finance team in Kuala Lumpur. This full-time role entails day-to-day accounting tasks and maintaining accurate financial records to support the company’s financial health.

Key responsibilities include processing invoices and payments, maintaining ledgers, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with accounts payable/receivable. Strong Excel skills and knowledge of Malaysian accounting principles are preferred.

About the role

We are seeking an Account Clerk to join the finance team at SYARIKAT SOUTH AUTO (K.L) SDN. BHD., a growing automotive business based in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial accuracy and integrity of our organisation. As an Account Clerk, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day accounting tasks and ensuring that all financial records are maintained to the highest standard. This role is essential to supporting our finance department and contributing to the overall financial health of the company.

What you'll be doing

Processing and recording financial transactions, including invoices, receipts and payments

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records and ledgers

Reconciling bank statements and identifying discrepancies

Preparing financial documents and reports for management review

Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

Data entry and maintaining organised filing systems for financial documentation

Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

Communicating with suppliers, customers and internal departments regarding account matters

Assisting with tax compliance and other regulatory requirements

Performing general administrative tasks to support the finance team

What we're looking for

STPM, Diploma or above in Accounting, Finance or a related field

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
